CA State Beaches
La Jolla Beach
La Jolla is known for it's luxury homes, fine dining and upscale shopping, but it has beaches to match these high-quality amenities. The coastline differs dramatically in this area with it's northern most part being fortified by 300 foot sea cliffs. The Shores is a mile long beach line, The Cove has a Mediterranean backdrop and Windansea and Birdrock are accentuated by reefs.

The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club has a public beach that is used by families as well. The excellent Scripps Birch Aquarium is nearby, with a huge selection of dining and shopping opportunities down the coast in downtown La Jolla.
